QAD Systems Analyst

As a QAD Systems Analyst you will be able to leverage your QAD skills to make a difference for users of our existing systems, while also playing a critical role in the planned migration to QAD Cloud.  You will have opportunities to improve or learn new skills in many areas including PowerBI, PowerApps, QAD Quality Solutions (EQMS), Barcode scanning and labeling systems, and more.


Essential Functions:

  • Provide training and support to QAD ERP users in various departments and locations.

  • Provide internal QAD consulting on projects that have an ERP component.

  • QAD business process optimization and automation.

  • QAD security and system administration.

  • Assist with EDI Setup, testing and troubleshooting.

  • Create and modify browses to best fit business and user needs.

  • Develop Browses, Queries, Power BI reports and dashboards for QAD and related applications.

  • Consult with business leaders to streamline processes through better use of systems.

  • Develop functional specifications, test cases, and test plans for system modifications.

  • Research, test and implement ERP-related solutions to meet business needs including CRM, Quality Management Tools, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Barcode scanning and labeling, Lot Traceability, Engineering Change Tracking, and more.

  • Play a key role in the transition to QAD Cloud and industry 4.0 digital transformation.

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain or related field.

  • 3+ years experience with QAD ERP in a manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years experience working with complex ERP implementation projects

  • Experience working with EDI

  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP best practices

  • Experience in Progress 4GL and QAD data migration tools and processes.

  • Automotive / OEM manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Word, and Excel

Senior Solution Consultant - Pre-Sales

Location: Open / Remote (w/ 70-80% Travel)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strong pre-sales/sales support related skills, well versed with RFP/RFI process in an IT Services Organization

  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations, coordinating proposals and solutions and defending these in front of the client, support sales team members in sales calls, etc.

  • Responsible to deal with CIO/CTO for presenting and defending the technical solution

  • Experience in defining technology-led solution vision & roadmap, architecture, and strategic adoption of enterprise mission critical software solutions

  • Technical leadership quality to oversee and work closely with the development teams constantly, reviewing the design/architecture in the proposals

  • Must have Led strategic adoption of cloud and emerging technologies through multiple Digital Transformation programs

  • Experience running technology solution workshops with senior management teams, development teams and business stakeholders

  • Set guidelines and best practices for functional design and technical architecture.

  • Minimum two years’ experience implementing modern enterprise software development architecture including Event Driven architecture, Microservices and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

  • Experienced in Enterprise grade Middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, RabbitMQ, SonicMQ)

  • Experienced in DevOps technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Chef, Gradle, Puppet, Ansible)

  • Must have led at least 2 modernization / application transformation architecture and solutioning engagements involving legacy to new edge and cloud enablement (Progress OpenEdge experience will be a huge plus)

  • Experience in working on Cloud solutions (public, private, hybrid) in one of the leading platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Skills required:

  • Position requires a BS degree in Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science, or Engineering with minimum of 10 years of technology work experience along with minimum 3 years in Presales/Sales/Solutioning role

  • Must be able to present and articulate solutions before client CTO/CIO

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Business Systems Analyst

Position Description
The Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for the efficient, timely and appropriate implementation and support of business-related systems improve the Company’s business processes and related efficiencies. This position requires expertise in analysis, design, implementation, support and training of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and other related business systems. This position will work closely with the Director of Global IT and other internal customers to provide high-quality technology solutions that can be deployed globally. The overall objective is to identify and implement effective IT solutions to meet operational/business needs while balancing the site’s needs and goals with company-wide initiatives and standards.


Principal Accountabilities
• Help key members of the business to implement and update new and existing systems to ensure they meet the needs of our internal
   and external customers
• Monitor, coordinate and perform unit testing and system testing to verify proper system function including the development of test
cases and test plans to reduce the risk of errors
• Identify and implement business process improvements
• Manage IT project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule and scope
• Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options
• Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions to IT problems
• Manage data verification, data mapping and validation of data
• Perform data analysis, query writing, and report development
• Assign duties, responsibilities and spans of authority to outside IT consulting services
• Monitor and assess performance of outside IT consulting services
• Implement new services and projects related to business systems
• Create, modify, and audit user accounts related to business systems
• Monitor, coordinate and perform unit testing and system testing to verify proper system function
• Responsible for disaster recovery plan related to business systems
• Responsible for technical and user training of business-related systems
• Provide user support for new and existing business-related systems
• Ensure accurate and current documentation stored appropriately and readily available when needed
• Review/assist in preparation and maintenance of training materials, training schedules
